Objectives and competences
This course is an innovative programme that seeks to meet the needs of students interested in setting out on their journey into the world of simulation. This programme, which consists of theoretical foundations module and a practical module, breaks with traditional structures and provides more in-depth training, far removed from reductionists approaches. At the end of the course you will be able to autonomously plan, design, execute and evaluate a learning experience based on simulation with all its elements (pre-briefing, scenario, debriefing)

Objectives and competences
Objectives
- To acquire more in-depth initial training that breaks from traditional structures and is far removed from reductionist approaches.
-To be capable of independently planning, designing and evaluating a simulation-based learning experience including all of the stages (pre-briefing, scenario, debriefing) based on international standards and the most recent scientific evidence.
- To acquire a solid conceptual basis with which to understand what simulation is, to know its modalities and objectives, to become familiar with the SimZones organizational model, to understand the different types of feedback one can use (feedback and debriefing) and to gain a basic understanding of the concepts of patient safety and teamwork.

Teachers, technicians, managers (directors, coordinators, administrators), researchers, actors who want to know the basics of clinical simulation in health sciences from a theoretical and practical perspective with or without previous university training.It is not a requirement to belong to the field of health sciences.
Access requirements and conditions
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.Pre-enrolment
