This blended or virtual course (depending on the modules chosen) is designed for health science professionals and teachers interested in simulation methodology and patient safety, with special emphasis on teamwork and communication through the strategies of the TeamSTEPPS® programme, widely implemented in hospitals in the United States.

- To make appropriate use of the Safety Pause in intensive care (a strategy to improve safety and teamwork), based on recommendations for a suitable briefing
and debriefing.
