Objectives and competences

The next edition of the course Specialization in Autism: Diagnosis and Intervention will allow students to acquire the knowledge needed to understand a condition that is not always well understood. The speed at which research is advancing has had a considerable impact on the early detection and diagnosis of autism, as well as on the types of bio-psycho-social support that can be provided. These circumstances make it essential that professionals strive to constantly update their knowledge. This is the only way to maintain high quality care in socio-family, psycho-pedagogical, clinical and medical contexts, among others.
