Objectives and competences

Malnutrition and food security influence the health, survival and development capacity of populations. This course addresses key nutritional challenges and approaches to improving nutritional status that apply at the domestic, community, national and international levels. We will explore the extent to which malnutrition can be prevented or reduced through targeted public and private sector interventions in low- and middle-income countries, as well as interventions targeting vulnerable populations in high-income countries.
