Objectives and competences

The aim of the course is to equip students from different disciplines within the social sciences with the tools they need to understand, take on and resolve challenges linked to new technologies emerging in digital societies and which are currently being addressed by professionals in public law. The multidisciplinary approach of the course ensures comprehensive, high-quality training addressing issues such as e-government, criminal prosecution and investigation, immigration and border control, human rights and understanding of the basics of new technologies.

This course aims to provide students with the knowledge and tools needed to take on the legal and ethical challenges that can arise in the digital society and in new technologies as well as their implications for contemporary public law.
