Objectives and competences

This theoretical-practical course in anatomical-surgical dissection of the locomotor system is designed for resident interns in surgical specialities related to the musculoskeletal system, the nervous system and the peripheral vascular system.
A distinguishing feature compared to other courses is the combination of theoretical explanations and practical examples by anatomy lecturers with surgical experience in the fields of orthopaedics, traumatology and plastic surgery. In addition, the course is accompanied by scheduled prosections and, as a teaching innovation added this year, the course will include live dissections performed by expert specialists and dissections undertaken by the students.
