Objectives and competences

Aucouturier psychomotor therapy is a body mediation practice that uses the relationship to mobilize the child's sensory system, their muscle tone, motor skills, emotional experience and imagination.
Individual involvement as part of a training group.
By examining their own experiences, analysing praxis, studying psycho-bio-social development and exploring psychomotor concepts, participants will develop a holistic understanding of the distinct ways in which childhood can evolve by guiding others and observing them from a broad and supportive perspective.
Designed for professionals who work with children up to 7 years of age and are involved in their processes of maturation in educational, healthcare, social, community and artistic contexts.

Objectives

In terms of education and prevention, Aucouturier psychomotor practice is designed to develop the psychological maturity of children through movement. Psychomotor practice is a support method proposed for groups of children that enables each individual to develop in harmony, in a safe, respectful, rich and varied environment.

The aim of the training course is to gain the professional skills required to work with children in the school and other educational environments.

The process is divided into three areas: personal training, theoretical training and educational training.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
