Objectives and competences
In this course, students will receive in-depth training in cosmetics, covering topics ranging from formulation and regulation to their practical application, implications and myths. The course will also cover the impact of body modifications and aesthetic treatments and procedures, focusing on potential complications and recommendations for action.
Additionally, students will learn about the effects of lifestyle and sport on the skin, how to prevent and treat them, and how to advise patients about them. Finally, the course will explore all aspects of diversity management in the practice.

Objectives and competences
Objectives
- To contribute to the creation and dissemination of general knowledge in the world of dermatology and specifically to reduce pathologies relating to the skin and the exposome in current society.
- To share existing scientific knowledge about the main exposome factors related to the modern lifestyle, as well as the bases for their short, medium- and long-term effects on skin.
- To equip participants with the tools to advise patients on all practices that affect the skin in order to prevent their potential negative effects.
- To offer a diverse and inclusive perspective of dermatology to the patient, focusing on raising awareness and providing appropriate communication and care strategies for the in-practice reality: a plural space.

Recommended applicant profile
- Dermatologists who are working at the start of the course.- Graduates in medicine and surgery with a specialization in dermatology.
- Resident doctors taking a specialization course in dermatology.
Access for non-graduates is reserved exclusively for those with degrees in Medicine or Surgery with a specialization in Dermatology (underway or finished) whose qualification is not legalised in Spain at the start of the course.
Access requirements and conditions
