Objectives and competences

The enactment of Organic Law 3/2007, of 22 March, for the effective equality of women and men and the passage of Royal Decree-Law 6/2019, of 1 March, on urgent measures to guarantee equal treatment and opportunities in labour and employment for women and men have encouraged the implementation of equal opportunities plans and protocols for preventing and responding to harassment in the workplace, as well as the promotion of equality. The same is true of Royal Decree 901/2020, of 13 October, regulating equality plans and their registration, and Royal Decree 902/2020, of 13 October, on equal pay for women and men.

- People who want to form part of a company's equality committee.
- People who want to specialise in equality and diversity to work as freelance equality agents or create an equality and diversity consultancy company.
- People who want to work in consultancies on equality, companies and/or organizations dedicated to equality and diversity.
- People who want to understand in depth gender equality and diversity management.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
