Objectives and competences
Objectives
- Acquire a sound understanding of the scientific principles of congenital and acquired heart conditions in children and of the clinical and technical skills for diagnosing and treating these conditions.
- Learn to use functional and imaging tests, interpret the results, and provide the most adequate treatment at any given stage.
- Take part in pre- and post-operative hospital care and outpatient care for pediatric patients.
- Learn the clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic principles applicable to these patients and be able to follow protocols and treat participating patients.
