Objectives and competences

Open science is a term encompassing numerous practices that change how research is done with the aim of making the entire scientific information cycle more transparent, collaborative and open to society as a whole. These new practices define a new environment that calls for new profiles to accompany research staff. They further give rise to the need to design new procedures and organize the necessary infrastructure for them. Due to this changing landscape, there is a growing demand for training and upskilling for the staff involved in research support that this course aims to meet.
