Objectives and competences
The master's degree in Coaching and Personal Leadership of the University of Barcelona, based on the scientific bases (and theoretical frameworks) developed nationally and internationally, aims to contribute to the rigour necessary to professionalize practice and professional exercise of coaching. Offering a wide, comprehensive range of models (e.g. systemic, ICT, ontological) and processes (e.g. co-active: model from Columbia, USA) of coaching, this master's degree stresses personal responsibility during the coaching process. It recognises coaching as a systematic processes (not just a set of empathetic, enjoyable conversations).

Objectives
- To develop various approaches to understanding individual, group and organizational systems.
- To acquire experience in the use of tools and methodologies for ethical practice as a coach in a variety of settings.
- To put into practice with coaches the tools and methodologies studied during the course.
- To know about the origins of the knowledge and tools used in the coaching and personal leadership process.

Recommended applicant profile
University degree holders: Degree or diploma holders of different knowledge areas.University degree holders: Admission to the courses is considered for people who are assessed as suitable due to their personal and professional background and who have not obtained a previous university qualification; the qualification that these students will obtain will be the University Extension Certification, issued by the University of Barcelona.
Access requirements and conditions
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.Pre-enrolment
