Objectives

The CETT's Expert Chef Diploma aims to be a transformational lever for propelling culinary professionals to excellence as chefs.

General objectives:
- Perfect and master culinary techniques. - Encourage creativity through art and design.
- Learn and train in business management skills in pursuit of rigorous, sustainable, ethical and efficient professional development.
- Gain knowledge of different artistic and cultural movements from a culinary perspective in order to create unique dining experiences based on technology, tradition and innovation.

Recommended applicant profile

This certificate is aimed at culinary professionals, with knowledge and experience in the kitchen, seeking to evolve and transform their careers. Potential candidates include head chefs looking to consolidate and hone their knowledge, chefs interested in advancing their careers, chef-entrepreneurs, chef owners or managers of restaurants or food establishments looking to rethink their business, and anyone else interested in these subjects with previous higher-education training in cooking (bachelor's degree in Culinary and Food Sciences) and professional or similar experience.
Prerequisites include having knowledge or previous experience in cooking techniques and notions of kitchen and restaurant management.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
