«DISCOURSES ON CATALAN LANGUAGE PROMOTION: perspectives and arguments" is an online advanced university course at the University of Barcelona, organized by the
Research Centre for Sociolinguistics and Communication (CUSC) at the University of Barcelona, with the support of the Government of Barcelona's Secretariat for Language Policy and the Department of Catalan and General Linguistics at the University of Barcelona. The course is recognised as a university extension certificate by the University of Barcelona (3 ECTS credits).

- Knowledge: Acquiring specific knowledge about the discourses used in the promotion of Catalan language, whether in favour or against it.
- Understanding: understand the tools of analysis and understanding of those arguments.
- Responding: acquire discursive resources and develop a capacity to argue.
