The training course for access to the subordinate corps for people with intellectual disabilities, taught by the University of Barcelona, aims to contribute to the employment of young people with intellectual disabilities in the public administration in calls for this collective.

Objectives

Acquire training in the following areas:
- Legal aspects.
- The rights of citizens in their relationships with the public administration.
- Administrative procedures and document management.
- Customer care and interpersonal communication processes.
- Information and communication technologies (ICTs).
- Occupational Hazards: rights and obligations.

Applicant profile and access requirements

Recommended applicant profile

- Candidates with an intellectual disability and the legal status of a person with a disability equal or above 33 %.
- Candidates with Spanish nationality or a certificate of a B2 level in Spanish language.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
