Objectives and competences
Master's degree aimed mainly at pediatric or general surgeons outside of the European Union. The objectives are for students to deepen knowledge of the most innovative techniques in pediatric surgery and to be immersed in a tertiary level centre with a high volume of highly complex patients. On successful completion of the master's degree, students will obtain a University of Barcelona qualification that is recognized in many countries as a guarantee of quality. The candidate must have a degree in medicine that is homologated in a European Union country.

Objectives
- To learn the principles and practice of the main techniques in pediatric surgery, in order to adequately implement surgical procedures used in child healthcare.
Specific objective:
- To learn and develop the skills required to practice the following pediatric surgery techniques: thoracic surgery, digestive surgery, urological surgery, neonatal surgery and fetal surgery.
