Objectives and competences
The Master's Degree on International Studies is a UB own postgraduate programme (60 ETCS) The master's degree is a unique personal, training and working experience in a international and multicultural context. Students have different nationalities, training and professional careers. The master's degree has been imparted continually since the 1989-1990 academic year.
In the first year, the classes start in October and end in June (Modules I to VI). In the second year, from September to July, students work on the research report (Modules VII to IX). These final modules can be taken as distance courses.

Objectives
- To study international organizations and the main issues in international cooperation between institutions (including peace-keeping, international economy and trade, development cooperation, protection and fostering of human rights, and the environment) starting from general examinations of contemporary history, international economy, public international law and international relations.

Recommended applicant profile
Graduates and holders of pre-EHEA degrees and diplomas with Spanish or foreign qualifications who are interested in developing their professional career in the international arena, within international public services and non-governmental organizations.Access requirements:
- academic transcript, qualification, interest in the course and in working systematically with it.
- Professional experience, foreign language skills and the experience of studying abroad will also be taken into account.
Access requirements and conditions
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.Pre-enrolment
