Objectives and competences

Critical liver disease is increasingly frequent in intensive care units; diseases such as chronic liver disease, acute liver failure or gastrointestinal bleeding due to esophageal varices, among others, are often severe and have complex treatment. Consequently, this postgraduate course has been developed for specialists in intensive care, hepatology, anaesthesiology, internal medicine, etc. with the main aim of promoting the knowledge of clinical protocols for caring for liver disease patients affected by a critical process.
