Objectives and competences

This master's degree is the most advanced academic programme in the discipline of BIM management today. The master's degree is offered in three different versions, Spanish, English and Portuguese, in which more than 600 people around the world are trained every year. BIM is changing the way projects are developed in the sector, with a specific BIM implementation plan for large and small companies. This emerging practice is the result of progress in the industry (Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operations), which requires new processes, work culture and technological skills.

Objectives and competences

Objectives

- Gain an introduction to the building information modelling ecosystem (BIM), a method used in the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) sector.
- To understand and acquire expertise in the main BIM applications, understand and implement new work flows, practices and information flows in the field of building projects, and acquire practical experience through relevant exercises and case studies. The BIM manager is responsible for the entire life-cycle of a building. They oversee both the technical administration and the overall execution of the project.
- To acquire training with a comprehensive perspective on construction projects.
