The Registries department (Regulatory Affairs) is indispensable in pharmaceutical and similar companies, it plays a fundamental role in the access of medicines to the market. It is one of the most comprehensive and exciting areas of professional development in the industry for a pharmacist. In this postgraduate course, you acquire the knowledge to present all the necessary documentation to both national and international authorities for the registration of medicines, health products, cosmetics, food supplements, etc. and manage relevant changes or updates.

Objectives

- To acquire the knowledge to apply effective technical and scientific strategies in the pharmaceutical industry.
- To examine characteristic features of the sector.
- To examine patenting and licensing for the commercialisation of drugs and other pharmaceutical products.
- To examine the area of regulatory affairs (RA) in drug provision and other pharmaceutical products; technical aspects of management and operations.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
