Objectives and competences

The master's degree in Integrated Management of Primary Care, Social Care and Hospital Care Services GESPAH is a programme that will help you develop the management and coordination capabilities of teams of professionals and resources to achieve integrated care between social services, health services and community health. Its aim is to optimize the training of social and health professionals in a joint and coordinated manner, achieving more effective and better quality people-centred care.

Objectives

- To understand new healthcare policies and of social services, with new tools and conciliatory models in patient care.
- To acquire the knowledge, techniques and skills for management and direction of professional teams and the resources of an organization.
To develop a capacity for the integration of services and welfare coordination between working teams.
- To effectively manage comprehensive processes and health and social territorial projects.
- To acquire skills in innovation and use of new technologies, strategies and business management tools.
- Meet and discuss issues with notable figures in the healthcare and social services system.
- To complete the course with a management project that can be applied to a care centre or territory with the support of businesses and institutions.
- Benefit from a professional teams improvement plan through coaching of one's own projects of social care.
- To create specific professional development projects and plans for social and healthcare providers.

Recommended applicant profile

- Professionals working in primary care performing coordination or management functions in primary care, hospital care, basic and specialized social services, and who wish to understand, be introduced or further their skills in territorial care management and coordination of professional teams, resources and services:
- Direct care professionals, directors and assistant directors of primary care centres, residential homes and homecare services.
- Heads of medical services and units and of hospital nursing, healthcare services and mental health services.
- Managers and coordinators of customer support services, CUAP, regional emergencies, PADES, referral units and regional bodies.
- Heads or directors of basic social care teams (EBAS), home care services, basic social services centres, day and residential centres to care for dependent people.
- Professionals from public institutions and private institutions and companies, providers of health services and social services for people in situations of dependence.
