Objectives and competences

The MIGA is an interuniversity master's degree taught by the University of Barcelona and the Autonomous University of Barcelona, which has more than 30 years of experience. It offers training based on environmental psychology through an interdisciplinary and systemic approach. It is designed to train professionals capable of integrating both a technical perspective and a psychosocial perspective to manage the human aspects related to environmental and sustainability issues at all scales and in different contexts, from the city and ways of life to the management of organizations.

Objectives

- To acquire a specialist understanding of the environment in preparation for professional practice, particularly in areas related to individual and collective behaviour.
- To learn to use the techniques and tools to analyse, assess, intervene and manage environmental issues in both natural habitats and in businesses and institutions, and to be able to implement them.

Recommended applicant profile

- University graduates with a specific interest or academic/professional involvement in aspects of the environment, sustainability or land planning.
- Holders of degrees in any discipline; mainly in social science (psychology, sociology, anthropology, geography) education, philosophy, law, economy, biology, the environment, chemistry, geology, architecture or engineering.
