Objectives and competences

Advanced training that covers the real needs of the nurse in emergency and emergency services and enables them to make urgent decisions with efficiency and quality criteria. It includes a module of clinical skills workshops concentrated in two face-to-face weeks, placements in high-tech hospital emergency services and SVB Dea accreditation.

Objectives

General objective:
- To acquire a broader understanding of nursing care, with a view to conducting research, carrying out planning and organizational tasks and organizing training relating to the various situation in which health care is required.

Specific objectives:
- To learn to determine the most suitable actions and care approaches for situations posing an immediate threat to life.
- To understand how to administer drugs correctly in emergency situations.
- To be able to take urgent decisions efficiently and with the necessary concern for quality.
- To understand the care process and methodology of hospital emergency services.

Holders of pre-EHEA diplomas, bachelor's degrees, postgraduate qualifications or PhDs in nursing, who are currently working or wish to work in any area of hospital care.
