Objectives and competences

The master's degree in Occlusion and Oral Rehabilitation aims to achieve maximum skills in dental prosthesis, from the simplest to the most complex cases of oral rehabilitation and covers all areas: removable prosthesis, total and partial, fixed prosthesis on natural teeth and prosthesis on implants, as well as craniomandibular dysfunction and dental sleep medicine. Graduates in dentistry or in medicine and surgery specializing in stomatology. It is learning based on problem solving, so that the student is facing the patient from the first day.

Objectives

- To gain the theoretical knowledge and clinical skills required to assess, diagnose and treat patients who require prosthodontic treatment in all its range of difficulty, from the simplest treatments that can be administered by a general dentist to more complex oral rehabilitation that requires specialized knowledge.
- To gain theoretical knowledge and clinical skills required to assess, diagnose and treat patients with craniomandibular dysfunction.
- To integrate the knowledge and clinical skills required to assess and treat patients with obstructive sleep apnea using mandibular advancement devices.
- To acquire the skills required for lifelong learning and the implementation of practices based on scientific evidence.
