Objectives and competences

The objective of the course is the introduction to computer expertise, providing knowledge of the theoretical foundations and the current legal framework; know the main tools within forensic informatics, as well as their application in real examples, such as a computer infection.
In addition to the introduction to the legal framework, a practical approach is offered to obtaining evidence, the investigation process, chain of custody, analysis and forensic techniques, types of cyber-attacks and "incident response team".
