Objectives and competences

The objective of the Course in Catastrophic Risk Management and Explosive Artifact Threat Action is to train students in the concept of Catastrophic Risk Management according to the most advanced conceptual approaches, providing the widest information on the characteristics of the tools of management applicable throughout the disaster cycle, potential or unleashed In addition, students will obtain the basic knowledge necessary to know how to identify a bomb threat or NRBQ.

Understand the latest concepts and techniques for managing catastrophic risks and emergency situations with special attention to fire-protection measures for buildings and the procedures to be followed in the presence of an explosive device.
