Acquire the knowledge, skills and clinical practices necessary to take care, in an integral way, of the surgical patient.
Describe and develop in detail nursing in the surgical process, nursing care in the various types of surgical intervention and its psychosocial aspects.
Facilitate professional development in the surgical field, with criteria of a level of competence excellence, to strengthen assertiveness in managing resources, dealing with patients and respecting their values, as well as the from the rest of the team and, to the promotion of their health.

Objectives
- To understand and gain experience of nursing procedures in the surgical setting, nursing care for different types of surgery, and the associated psychosocial considerations.
- To develop specialized surgical skills and learn to resolve situations with the highest possible level of competence, demonstrating assertiveness in resource management, patient care and the respect for the values of others.
- To know how to show respect for other team members and how to promote personal health.
