Objectives
With the bachelor's degree in Digital Business and Innovation in Tourism, you will be able to address the challenges and changes derived from technological and digital evolution, innovating and developing new products in the tourism, hospitality and gastronomy sectors.
The main objectives of this bachelor's degree are:
- To master technologies and digital tools and knowing how to apply them to transform the processes of businesses, projects, and tourist destinations, as well as programming your own digital platforms.
- To learn, through theory and practice with real projects, the main methodologies of project management.
- To develop creativity with a technological and business-oriented vision.
- To become a tourism entrepreneur, which should allow you to create your own company and business model or implement your project in a company or tourist destination, applying the best strategies.
- To participate from the first year in the design and development of a company or an entrepreneurship project in a real company, designing tourism products and services, with the assistance and guidance of the Faculty.
- To get ready to adapt yourself to the new positions that will lead the market of the future.

- Capacity to interpret the principles of tourism and its sociocultural and environmental impact.
- Ability to assess the economic dimension of tourism at the international level and the impact of new technologies in its development.

Placements
Placements are supervised by tutors and subject to assessment.They are therefore included in the academic record. There is also an option to complete non-curricular placements of up to 500 hours, which can be extended to 900 hours. For both curricular and non-curricular placements, an educational cooperation agreement is signed between the UB and the company, institution or other organization at which the placement will be carried out.
