On May 1On 12 May 2022, the Governing Council of the University of Barcelona agreed to change the name of the Antoni de Capmany Centre for Economic and Economic History Studies to the Jordi Nadal Centre for Economic History Studies. The Centre is a University observatory whose objective is to promote, project and disseminate research and knowledge transfer in its specialised field, which is the long-term economic development of our societies. The Jordi Nadal Centre for Economic History promotes collaboration with public and private entities, provides scientific advice in its field of expertise, publishes scientific journals and promotes communication and dissemination of its activities. The Centre is made up of members of research groups that originated in the former Department of History and Economic Institutions.
