Commitment to relevant, plural educational research committed to social transformation
The publications linked to the Institute for Research in Education (IREUB) highlight the knowledge generated by its members and strengthen the relationship with the research and educational community. They include both their own initiatives and projects shared with other institutions, with the aim of fostering critical debate, identifying emerging challenges and contributing to a fairer, meaningful and transformative education. At the same time, they connect research with academic reflection and the desire for social transformation.

Education Collection (Bianual). Challenges, trends and commitments.

IREUB’s own publication, this collection makes visible the research carried out by its members and promotes synergies between research groups. Through chapters with choral authorship, current educational issues are addressed and commitments are proposed to transform educational practice and policy from diverse perspectives, with analytical rigor, social relevance and a transformative orientation. The collection is published in collaboration with Octaedro.

Revista Catalana de Pedagogia

Co-edited by the University of Barcelona and the Catalan Society of Pedagogy, the Revista Catalana de Pedagogia is a scientific publication that promotes pedagogical debate and the dissemination of quality research. It maintains a close relationship with the Institute for Research in Education (IREUB), with the current editorial direction by Dr. Ruth Vilà, member of the Institute, within the framework of a consolidated institutional collaboration.
