Equilibria in Solution and Chemometrics
Chemometrics is a scientific discipline that applies mathematical and statistical methods to design experiments and analyze chemical data, thereby improving the understanding and prediction of chemical processes.

Our research group specializes in chemometrics and its application in various fields, from food and industrial process analysis to image and the study of solution balance of nucleic acids and proteins. Through an interdisciplinary approach, we combine analytical chemistry, biophysics and computer science to advance the understanding of complex systems, contributing to scientific progress and human well-being.
In the study of solution equilibria, chemometrics is essential, as it helps determine how the components of a solution interact and stabilize under different conditions. For instance, when analysing how substances dissolve and react in water, chemometrics allows for the prediction of changes in concentration and molecular behaviour, optimization of industrial processes and the improvement of the development of new chemical and pharmaceutical products.
