Rental and reservation
The building where the faculty and other services of the University of Barcelona are located is 300 meters from Barcelona Stants station, so it offers a privileged location to companies and institutions that want to rent its different spaces to teach courses or seminars.
For prior consultation of needs, availability on the requested dates and, if desired, a visit to the facilities:

The centre administration is responsible for providing a written response to all requests and confirming the effectiveness of the reservation and the expenses that must be paid. The reservation of spaces on a firm basis is subject to availability according to the calendar and schedule. In any case, priority is always given to events of an institutional and academic nature organized by the University itself and its units, over demands from institutions and entities outside the university community.
Information: catalogue of facilities rental.
Space reservation
Requests must be addressed to the unit responsible for managing the spaces. The firm reservation is subject to availability according to the calendar and the schedule. Authorization must be requested for the exhibition of material and articles and the eventual installation of various information points that are intended to be located in the interior spaces of the University's centres, as well as for taking photographs or filming, whether of professional nature or not.

- The ½ day occupation corresponds to five uninterupted hours (morning or afternoon).
- The occupation of an entire day is limited by the setting of a time limit, established at 9:00 p.m. and exceptionally, 10:00 p.m. If the established time limit is exceeded by more than two hours, the rate for the use of ½ day faciliites will be applied.
- The prices established do not include VAT, which is always borne by the user.
- The user will not carry out any work or installation in the spaces subject to the temporary lease, nor will they make any change in the strucutres of the facilities, unless there is express written authorization. The user agrees to ensure compliance with security regulations by attendees.
- Access control for attendes is the responsibility of the user. In the event that the presence of authorities is planned at the event, the University must be notified immediatelty so that the appropriate security measures can be taken, without prejudice to those that must be adopted by the user himself.
Indirect costs
Under no circumstances may applicants remunerate University staff. Timely invocing and payment processing for extraordinary services through the Personal Service is always mandatory. The University of Barcelona may require payment of the amount budgeted for this concept before the end of the activity.
Other expenses
The applicant is responsible for any additional expenses that may arise due to special needs that the activity requires (maintenance, cleaning and others). The University intervenes in the demand for these extraordinary services, and the corresponding expenses must be invoiced directly to the company that has provided the services (special facilities, bar services, translators, extraordinary cleaning, technical electricians, security personeel, etc. ).
