Information for Students

Internships in companies and institutions are a way to deepen the practical training of your studies under the Faculty’s supervision, a first contact with the working world, or a way to try out various branches of the professional sector.

The stays in companies and institutions can be curricular internships (mandatory within the framework of a core subject) or non-curricular or voluntary internships (carried out within the framework of an educational cooperation agreement).

Regarding curricular internships you will find more information on the specific page for your program:

Do you want to acquire complementary training both in the academic and personal fields while receiving financial support? As a student of the University of Barcelona you can benefit from a collaboration scholarship in an internal unit or in an external institution. The University organizes two general calls for collaboration scholarships in the months of March and October, and, exceptionally, throughout the year according to needs.

On the other hand, the Faculty of Information and Audiovisual Media also periodically calls for collaboration scholarships for its students.
You have a series of opportunities to complement your training in other universities, both in the rest of the State and abroad. Some programs are designed to complete your studies, while others promote the acquisition of practical experience in a real work environment. The calls for these exchange and mobility programs are annual.
