Review and Improvement

Review and improvement as foundations of the Nursing Faculty's SAIQU.
The SAIQU of the Faculty of Nursing has specific quality processes that regulate and manage the review of the internal quality assurance system itself (PEQ011), of the degree programmes subject to it (specific quality processes within the VSMA framework: PEQ020, PEQ021, PEQ022, PEQ023, and PEQ024), and of the SAIQU’s document management (PEQ012).

The SAIQU of the Faculty of Nursing is reviewed periodically and systematically with the aim of improving its processes and procedures, as well as the degree programmes. To do this, it analyses data, indicators, surveys, and reports from both internal and external sources of the Faculty and the University of Barcelona.

The Centre Monitoring Reports (ISC) and the Self-Assessment Accreditation Reports are the tools used to review the degree programmes, and result in the improvement plan for the programmes under the scope of the SAIQU.

The Quality Committee periodically reviews the Nursing Faculty’s SAIQU and proposes improvement actions. The result of this review is the SAIQU Review Report and the resulting SAIQU Improvement Plan, which is incorporated into the Centre's overall Improvement Plan.
