Organization and methodology

Teaching is structured in two semesters and, in general, the subjects are organized in face-to-face activities, directed work activities and autonomous work activities.

TheTeaching Plan of each subject is the document that collects both the contents, the teaching and learning methodologies and the evaluation systems.

Evaluation

The ordinary system for evaluating subjects is continuous assessment. This evaluative route consists of a series of evaluable activities or works throughout the semester, which can be concluded in a final synthesis test. This set of evaluable activities must allow to accredit the achievement of the objectives of the subject included in the teaching plan, both in terms of the competences to be acquired and the skills to be developed, as well as in terms of the theoretical or conceptual knowledge of the subject that the student must achieve and that must allow him to solve the activities applied in the practical aspect.

The student also has the possibility of taking the single assessment under the conditions established by the regulations of the University of Barcelona.

The subjects have a single assessment call. But there is the possibility of re-evaluating a subject when it has not been passed initially (either through the continuous assessment route or through the single assessment route).

TheTeaching Plan of each subject contains all the information related to the evaluation system of each of the modalities.
