As part of the commemoration of 8M, International Women's Day, the Faculty of Geography and History will offer the Experimental Body Mapping Workshop. Let's Reflect on Violence in the University Environment, an activity aimed at the entire university community that will take place on Wednesday, March 11, from 4 to 6 p.m., in Room 302. The workshop will be led by Marta Ausona Bieto and Diana Mata-Codesal.

The activity proposes the collective creation of body maps as a tool to identify in one's own body the structural violence that permeates the university environment, as well as the resistance strategies that are generated there. The main objective is to open a safe and trusting space where experiences can be shared, the impact of this violence recognized and transformed into a collective force.

The workshop has limited places (10–20) and requires prior registration by March 9. The organization requests a commitment to attend to guarantee the quality of the group work.

The activity is organized by the Equality Commission of the Faculty of Geography and History, with the collaboration of the Equality Commission of the Institute of Archaeology.
