The Faculty participates in the I Technical Conference at the Sant Pau Vocational Training Institute of Health

The researchers, Jordi Juárez and Mariano Curti, presented last Friday, February 27, the paper "Molecular Modeling Techniques in Life Sciences" to the students of the 1st and 2nd year of the Clinical and Biomedical Diagnosis Laboratory cycle.

During the session, students were able to learn first-hand about the applications of new bioinformatics techniques of molecular modelling in the design of new drugs and in the simulation of biological processes, innovative tools that contribute to the knowledge and treatment of diseases and that become alternatives to research with experimental animals. In addition, the difficulties and complexity of the process of obtaining a new drug were also addressed.
