Student awards and honours at the Faculty

  • Language awards for the promotion of Catalan
    • The Faculty of Education organizes a variety of competitions and awards to promote the use of Catalan. These include prizes for the best assignments and theses written in Catalan and awards for the linguistic and literary quality of unpublished works:
      1. Prize for the best doctoral thesis written in Catalan at the Faculty of Education (competition rules)
      2. Prize for the best master's degree final project written in Catalan at the Faculty of Education (competition rules)
      3. Emili Mira i López Award for linguistic quality (competition rules)
    • Contests and competitions are also organized to test the Catalan language skills of the whole campus community and to showcase students' artistic skills and creativity:   
      1. RodaLlengua contest
      2. New Year's Greeting (competition rules) (request to participate)
      3. These awards and competitions are promoted by the centre's Language and Cultural Promotion Committee, with the support of the UB's Language Services and the Office of the Vice-Rector for Students and Language Policy.
