EUS Program

Company University Society

Since 1989, the most academically outstanding students in Economics and Business Administration and Management have had the opportunity to participate in the EUS Program to complete the final part of their education through training entirely in English, in small groups, and intensively planned over three semesters. This teaching is compatible with international academic stays.

EUS students finish their degree studies with a six-month full-time internship at relevant organizations across various economic sectors, both locally and internationally.

To be eligible for the program, you must meet a series of minimum requirements:

  • Be enrolled in the Business Administration or Economics degree.
  • Have passed the first 120 credits of the degree, equivalent to the first two years.
  • Have an average grade of 7/10 or higher.
  • A recommendation of at least B2 level in English (no certificate required).

The last two years of the degree are taken within the EUS Program. The teaching is intensified over three semesters, and all subjects are taught entirely in English. The elective courses you need to take are all international in nature. In the final semester, you join a six-month placement and simultaneously develop your Bachelor’s Degree Final Project (TFG).

As an EUS student, you have the opportunity to participate in international academic mobility programs (Erasmus+ or others), through the collaboration between the EUS Program office and the International Promotion Area.

For this purpose, you will be assigned an exchange tutor who will help you in choosing the destination university based on your preferences and the subjects to be validated.

The Career Services offer a wide range of activities, workshops, and presentations focused on the professional development of third- and fourth-year students. In addition to regular activities, specific activities are planned.

During the final academic semester, you join placements at top-level companies and institutions while developing your Bachelor’s Final Project (TFG):

  • You join the placements in January-February.
  • The placements last six months and are full-time.
  • You receive supervision from academic and company tutors.
  • The financial aid you receive from the company is at least €650 gross per month.
  • The company contributes an additional €500 plus VAT to the Faculty for each student in the placement.

There is a wide range of possibilities for entities and areas where you can carry out your placements, including, but not limited to, food, economic analysis, automotive, corporate banking, private banking, e-commerce, strategic consulting, cosmetics, energy, pharmaceuticals, taxation, logistics, marketing, chemicals, public sector, financial services, professional services, textiles, sales...

There is a high level of job placement among EUS students. 35% are incorporated into the staff of the same company where they did their placement, and 55% have contracts with other companies after graduation, often at companies where they did the selection process for placements and had a reserved position.
