International internships

If you want to do internships in companies, first go to the Professional Careers Office of the Faculty, where they can guide you and give you information. You will be able to access the GIPE platform and check if any of the internship announcements are abroad. You can also choose to apply for a scholarship to the news of feinaUB or go to the Work Club to advise you on how to make a self-candidacy or how to obtain lists of companies in the country where you want to go.

Erasmus+ Internship Programme
The Erasmus+ Internship programme aims to promote the mobility of young people between the countries of the European Union and associated countries for internships in companies, research centres and other organizations in these countries, by financing these internships through the Erasmus+ Programme.  You can consult all the information about the program, which manages our office, at the following link: Erasmus+ Internship programme

2025-2026:  If you have already closed the call, the information available on the previous call, while the new one is not opened, can serve as an orientation. All the information is updated as soon as the call opens: deadlines, requirements, documentation and processing of the application and offer of places.

The call is usually opened approximately in October of each academic year for first semester, second semester and annual mobilities of the following academic year but this program has different deadlines for submitting applications throughout the course, which can be consulted in the published call.
The search for the company, institution or body where the internship is carried out by the student. There are, however, some resources that may be useful:

The Professional Careers Office of the Faculty: If you want to find international internships, first go to the Professional Careers Office of the Faculty, where they can guide you and give you information. The internship offices of the different faculties may have international internships that may be of interest to you. You will be able to access the GIPE platform and check if any of the offers is in any of the EU countries and partners that are part of the program.

Erasmus Intern

The Intern Erasmus internship portal, created by the Erasmus ESN student association and funded by the European Union, allows European students to find internships in companies from other European Union countries and partners. All the information about this initiative and its internship offers can be found on the Intern Erasmus Portal.

Others

There are several portals that centralize different internship offers in foreign countries, such as EuroBrussels. You can consult the different international internship portals. You can also go directly to those companies or organizations that interest you.

Destinations

Internships in an institution belonging to one of the states that make up the European Union and the countries associated with the program. The host organizations may be companies (all organizations that carry out an economic activity in the public or private sector, of any dimension, legal status and economic sector in which they carry out the activity, even the social economy) public or private, training centers, research centers or other organizations, including universities. The institutions and other EU bodies are not valid host organisations for the programme, including specialised agencies and organisations managing EU programmes, such as the national Erasmus+ agencies.
The level of foreign language must be accredited in accordance with the provisions of the Linguistic Accreditation Procedure.

The language and level of language that you must prove will be the one requested by the company or body where you are going to carry out the internship, as reflected in the documents of the internal confirmation and the traineeship agreement.
All the information related to the financial aid and scholarships available is indicative and until each call is published. So take this information as guidance but know that there may be changes from one academic year to the next.
