Master’s degree coordination committees

The coordination committees are the bodies in charge of the organization, planning and general running of the master’s programmes. They are also in charge of the mobility, and they analyse the results that guarantee the quality of the master’s degrees.

The university master’s degree coordinator is appointed by the Faculty Board.

The university master’s degree coordination committee is formed by:

The coordinator of the university master’s degree, who acts as chairperson of the committee.
A representation of the teaching staff of the departments that teach at least 20% of the studies of the master’s degree.
A representation of the student body. At least one student elected by the students enrolled in the master’s degree.
The head of the Secretary’s Office for Students and Teaching Staff, or the designated person, who acts as the committee’s secretary.

The academic coordination committee is responsible for:

Proposing the subjects offered each academic year to the Academic Committee and the Faculty’s Master’s Degree Committee for their approval, ensuring the interrelation between the subjects and courses of the degree.
Approving the course plan and the teaching assignments submitted by the departments and submitting them to the Academic Committee and the University Master’s Degree Committee of the Faculty for approval.
Resolving students recognition applications.
Carrying out the selection and admission of students.
Coordinating the public information about the master’s degree with the centre.
Coordinating the preparation of the annual monitoring report of the master’s degree and submitting it to the competent bodies of the faculty for approval.
