Bachelor’s degrees currently last four years. In all of these courses, students acquire the necessary skills for professional activity in the respective field.
Master’s degrees, on the other hand, are aimed towards specialization in a specific field and can be university or inter-university degrees.
Finally, the doctoral degree represents the highest academic distinction that students can obtain in their training. It entitles the holder to teach and carry out university research.
The Faculty’s Academic Area is organized around academic councils for bachelor’s degree courses and coordinating committees for master’s degree courses. These bodies (formed by PDI, PTGAS and students) take the decisions to plan and supervise how these courses work.
To carry out the teaching tasks in the different courses, the Faculty has a team made up of more than 600 lecturers, 40% of whom are permanent lecturers; 12% are lecturers, visiting lecturers and postdoctoral researchers, and the remaining 48% are adjunct lecturers, made up of professionals from the public and private sectors who participate as part-time lecturers, contributing their knowledge and professional experience.
