Renovation of the air conditioning system on the fourth floor at the CRAI Law Library

With the aim of improving the stay of users of the CRAI Law Library, the air conditioning system on the fourth floor, in operation since 1970, has been renovated, and two autonomous machines have been added to serve the training classroom and a workroom. The assembly and installation works have meant the closure of the floor to users from October 2025 to March 2026, and access has been restricted exclusively to library staff.

The new devices regulate the temperature automatically to maximize efficiency and reduce energy consumption.

The work has been financed with the allocation of the University Investment Plan (PIU) shared between the Faculty of Law and the CRAI of the University of Barcelona.
