Matrícula d’estudiants de nou accés

The UB Welcome Portal provides all the information you need to access the University of Barcelona.
Keep the self-enrolment help guide at hand. It will assist you in completing your enrolment quickly and easily.
Enrolment must be completed through the self-enrolment application, accessible from any computer with an Internet connection. Before your assigned date and time, ensure that your Internet connection is working properly.
On each individual Bachelor's degree page you will find the curriculum, as well as detailed information on courses and timetables.
It is essential that you activate your UB student account. You will receive an institutional email with instructions (more information at: https://www.ub.edu/portal/web/acad/).

Conditional enrolment as a grant holder
If you did not receive a grant last year and wish to enrol as a conditional grant holder, you must have applied for the general grant and must not have received a rejection decision. If you meet this requirement at the time of enrolment, the system will allow you to enrol under this status.

Each year, a few days before the first enrolment period for new first-year bachelor’s students, information sessions are scheduled to explain everything required to complete enrolment.

  • Full-time: 60 credits
  • Part-time: 30 credits
Documentation

Regarding general documentation (copy of ID card, passport or NIE) and supporting documents for legally established exemptions (large family status, honours distinctions, etc.): if, at the time of enrolment, you authorise the UB to carry out the necessary checks via electronic consultation with the relevant public administration, you do not need to submit any documents. If you do not authorise this data verification, you must submit the required documentation in person at the faculty’s administrative office.

Financial information

The UB annually adapts its tuition payment methods to developments in the market, ensuring those established by the official fees decree and incorporating any technologically available options that are of interest to both students and university administration.

Students may choose between a single payment or payment by instalments. The UB’s partner banks are Banco Santander, BBVA and CaixaBank. Failure to pay tuition fees or any instalments within the deadlines established by the UB will result in the automatic suspension of student rights, in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the enrolment regulations.
