Professional introduction to the colour grading process applied to cinema, combining colour theory, post-production flows and practice with advanced correction tools. The course allows you to understand how colour defines the aesthetics, narrative tone and visual coherence of a film, and provides the essential skills to intervene in the image with technical criteria and cinematic sensitivity.

Objectives

Training in the use of professional digital colour correction tools and techniques applied to the audiovisual workflow, with a special focus on cinema.

Training to make precise interventions on image colorimetry, create coherent looks and apply colour management criteria according to industry standards.

Recommended applicant profile

Students, professionals and people interested in image post-production and, in particular, in colour correction and treatment in film projects. Especially recommended for profiles linked to cinematography, editing, post-production or the creation of audiovisual content who want to acquire specialized tools to work with technical criteria and visual sensitivity.
It is recommended to have basic knowledge of post-production workflows and familiarity with the use of audiovisual software, although it is not essential. The programme is suitable for both active professionals who want to update their skills and for emerging creators who are looking to strengthen their employability in the field of film colour grading.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
