Objectives and competences

Suara Cooperativa and IL3-UB collaborate in this co-creation project to develop a micro-credential oriented towards the home and residential care sector.
This initiative seeks to offer flexible and recognized training, adapted to the real needs of professionals, reinforcing the shared commitment to learning (throughout life) and social transformation:
Guaranteeing the quality of the service by ensuring that the people treated receive adequate and safe care from trained professionals.
Strengthening the socio-health sector as one of the key axes for social cohesion and collective well-being, especially in a context of growing demand.

Objectives

Understanding and applying innovative models of care for the elderly with a community-based, inclusive and active approach.
Developing skills to design, implement and evaluate social programs that promote active and healthy ageing.
Integrating the perspective of social innovation into the design processes of interventions for the elderly, with the aim of improving their quality of life and promoting their social participation.

Recommended applicant profile

Professionals in care and the socio-health sector, as well as people interested in social innovation and active ageing policies. It is especially recommended for professionals who work in elderly care services.
Suitable for both people who already work and those who are looking for professional retraining or to expand their skills in the field of active ageing.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
