Objectives and competences

The emergence of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) and multi-modal generative models open new perspectives for the treatment and analysis of clinical and public health data, with a growing impact on biomedical research and the management of healthcare services. The course combines a technical and applied approach, providing the foundations of the main models and showing techniques such as prompting and fine-tuning to apply them to real health cases. At the same time, it addresses the ethical, legal and governance aspects linked to the use of these technologies, promoting a critical approach oriented towards professional practice.
