Objectives and competences

This training is designed to introduce professionals from public administrations, consultancies and non-governmental organizations to the application of intersectional perspectives in the design and evaluation of plans, programmes and projects. The objective is to offer a comprehensive approach to intersectionality that combines theoretical foundations with practical tools, in order to identify and address the multiple dimensions of inequality that can affect people according to gender, origin, social class, age, sexual orientation and ability, among others.

Objectives

We offer a comprehensive approach to intersectional perspectives that integrates the theoretical foundations and practical tools necessary to identify and address the various dimensions of inequality that can affect people according to gender, origin, social class, age, sexual orientation and disability, among others, with the aim of incorporating this perspective into all phases of the public policy cycle, as well as in the design, implementation and evaluation of plans, programmes and projects, to guarantee more fair, inclusive and effective interventions.

Professionals from the field of public administration, consulting staff, technical equality teams, research support staff, professionals from evaluation agencies and non-governmental organizations.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
