Objectives and competences

This training responds to the needs of primary care teams in the face of growing social and healthcare complexity. It offers a microcredential to train professionals in psychosocial and health-related interviews during home visits (in-home interviews), incorporating social determinants such as housing, social network or income. The objective is to promote a more humane, comprehensive and contextualized practice, with a positive impact on the health of the population.

Objectives and competences

Objectives

- To train primary care professionals to integrate the psychosocial and salutogenic approach into their daily practice, identifying and addressing the social determinants of health in home visits and in the community setting
- Develop practical skills for conducting psychosocial and salutogenic interviews during home visits, promoting person-centred and community-centred care, with the aim of enhancing the empowerment and emotional well-being of the population served.

Recommended applicant profile

-Nursing professionals who provide home and community care within primary care teams.
-Healthcare social workers who intervene in complex situations with a strong social dimension.
-Family and community medicine professionals who want to broaden their perspective in a psychosocial and person-centred way.
-Emotional well-being referents and community health agents within primary care teams.
-Professionals who lead or are part of community care teams (EAC) or who participate in community health projects.
-Those responsible for management or coordination of primary care teams interested in incorporating this approach into collective practice.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
