Objectives and competences

Objectives

This training programme contributes to the ultimate goal of the cross-border project coParticiPA: promote the participation of people in vulnerable situations in social, educational and community health services. Specifically, the programme aims to transform the way in which we accompany people in vulnerable situations into contexts of social intervention, generating more participatory, horizontal and co-responsible spaces.
Therefore, the program pursues the following general objectives:
- Develop professional skills to promote genuine participatory processes in social, educational and health support.
- Strengthening the role of professionals as agents of change, through tools and methodologies aimed at the active involvement of accompanied people.
- Incorporate the use of innovative pedagogical and digital tools to promote co-responsibility, autonomy and the voice of people.

Applicant profile and access requirements

Recommended applicant profile

Active professionals in the areas of social, educational, health or community services in Spain, France and Andorra, especially those with experience in direct intervention with people in vulnerable situations.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
